In order for you to find the perfect timing in a cut-to-cut video editing, you have to watch the whole video first. While watching you have to have a pen and paper ready so you could take notes of the following:- Label of the clip
- Specific start time and end time of the clip
- Length of the clip
- Added notes about the clip (e.g. the scene, character, location)
This technique would save you a lot of time and would make your imagination work. After having all the right clips, make a story board. You can either sketch the scene or make a print out that could work as a thumbnail.
